THE TADRA PROJECT
Until
our policy changed in 2002, encouraging promoters to choose local issuse
and charities, the single project that Earthdance International and promoters
supported from 1997 - 2002 was the Tadra
Children's Village in Eastern Tibet. This Tibetan charity
based in Germany supports homeless Tibetan children, many of whom would
not otherwise survive the bitterly cold Tibetan winters. Over the
period Earthdance parties globally raised enough funds to build two children's
homes ad begin the construction of a much-needed medical center. Some
promoters still choose to support the tadra project.
On an international level, Earthdance continues
to support many non-profit organizations.
