IN 60 COUNTRIES WILL UNITE On the weekend of September 15, 2007, at 4PM Pacific Standard Time, nearly half a million world citizens in over 60 countries will join together for the world’s largest synchronized music and dance festival for peace and to support humanitarian causes through the global language of music and dance. The defining moment of each Earthdance event is a synchronized link-up, (4pm Pacific Standard Time) when every event around the world plays a specially produced song called "The Prayer for Peace" at exactly the same time. World citizens will join together in venues across the world from large scale festivals, concert halls and clubs, to city parks, community halls, and living rooms from morning in the Australian rainforest, midnight in London and sunrise over the Himalayas to honor the Prayer for Peace in a profound and powerful unifying moment. RELEASE SAN FRANCISCO: APRIL 30TH. Earthdance International, the world’s largest global dance and music festival for peace, and Mystic Vibration will attempt to create the world’s largest synchronized global Om, on Saturday, September 15, 2007 in a project called H2Om. Each year, in alignment with the International Day of Peace, Earthdance International unites over 200,000 people (360 locations in 60 countries) through the universal language of dance and music to support global peace and humanitarian causes. The defining moment of the Earthdance event is the synchronized “Prayer for Peace”, played at every location at the same time. The theme for the 2007 Earthdance International event is “Water”, to raise awareness on the preciousness of this natural resource. This year, the Earthdance “Prayer for Peace” will be followed by a unified global Om, as people across the world synchronize their voices with the intention of healing the Earth’s waters. Participants will tune to the specific frequency called the Schumann Resonance (7.1825hz), which is the consistent tone emitted by planet earth as discovered by Nasa. In addition to this frequency that will be audible on land, we intend to transmit the same frequency (via specially designed water speakers) to the waters of several major sacred rivers throughout the world (Amazon, Ganga, Nile etc.). This gesture will be an attempt to “homeopathically resonate” the Earth’s water body with our global intention, and thus unite all life, both on land and sea. “The H2Om event will be a truly unprecedented experience and we are confident that by raising awareness about the need to preserve our precious natural resources of water, we will take a step toward the betterment of our earth’s environment and improve the livelihood of countless future generations,” said Alex Theory Ph.D, co-creator of the H2Om event and founder of Mystic Vibration, an organization dedicated to the research and implementation of sound healing. The H2Om project will be launched at the World Sound Healing Conference in San Francisco on May 11, 2007.
