Originally from Australia, Chris' music and vision have taken him around
the world many times. He has lived and worked in Amsterdam, London and
San Francisco among other places. Chris founded the Earthdance Interantional
charity event in 1997 and has been its Executive Producer for that past
ten years. Prior to that, he was co-founder of Return to the
Source, a successful London dance club, music production
and touring company. A musician and electronic dance music artist for
over 13 years, Chris records and performs under the name, Medicin Drum,
and has toured extenseively in the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa,
and South America. Medecine Drum has released 5 albums, including three
releases on the CyberOctave/Virgin-EMI music label.
Abigail Lewis,
Executive Director
Abby
began her career as an activist working for the environment, civil liberties
and womens' rights. She is a former Director of the San Francisco Office
of the California Public Interest Research Group (CALPIRG). In 1996 she
re-focused her attention to the still nascent Internet, sensing its true
potential as a tool for connecting people and ideas. She dedicated herself
to creating websites for organizations and individuals she supports. The
most significant if these was the creation of a website for H.H. the Dalai
Lama. Abby was the Communications Manager for Joe Firmages' International
Space Science Organization. In 2003, she joined Earthdance as the International
Coordinator, and in 2005 becasue its Exectutive Director. Abby is currently
on the Board of Directors of the Rogue Valley
Metaphysical Library and is involved in the Grandmother
Council Conference held annually in Ashland, Oregon.
Jeni Larsen,
International Coordinator, Press Relations
Jeni
is a recent graduate form the University of Idaho with a degree in Advertising
and Sociology. She found Earthdance while working for Americorps in Ashland,
Oregon. Jeni lives for music and dancing and is excited to be a part of
the greatness that is Earthdance.
Reavis Daniel Moore, Board
of Directors
Reavis
has over 25 years experience in the music industry as an entrepreneur
and consultant. In the early 80s, he was Vice President and partner in
SouthCoast Communications of Austin, Texas, a label and publisher in partnership
with MCA Records and CBS Songs, whose clients included a number of top
selling artists. From 1986 to 1998, he was Co-Founder of Open Door Management,
a music artist management firm based in Los Angeles. From 1989 to 1992,
he was Executive Director and Co-Founder, with Jeffrey Bronfman, of the
Rainbow Warrior World Music Festivals and Fund, in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Since 1993, he has been a music business consultant and advisor to numerous
companies, entrepreneurs, and artists. From 1997 to 2003, he was CEO and
Founder of MusicMind/MBC Networks, Inc. an international music industry
consulting firm. Currently based in New York City and Tel Aviv, Israel,
Reavis is the Co-Founder and Co-Coordinator of 30 Days of Peace, a project
of Earthdance and Pathways To Peace.
Matthew Marshall, Board
of Directors
Matthew has over 20 years experience in
the music and entertainment industry. He began his career as a film and
television agent in Los Angeles, CA. From 1986 to 2004, he was the CEO
and Founder of Highr Octave Music. Higher Octave and its sub-labels, CyberOctave
and Omtown, are market leading labels in world music and contemporary
jazz. He successfully completed the sale of Higher Octave Music to Virgin/EMI
in 1998, at which time he became a label President within EMI until 2004.
He is the Co-Foudner of 4th Way Distribution,a lifestyle products catalog
and fulfillment company, and Cyberset, LLC, aa new media music company.
Spencer Sherman,
Financial Advisor
Spencer helps business and spiritual leaders, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists
make major life and business decisions. He earned a bachelor's degree
in economics from Brandeis University in 1983 (Phi Beta Kappa), an M.B.A.
in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in
1987, and the CFP® designation in 1990. Since starting his firm in
1987, he has been widely quoted in the financial press and on television.

to his fans as Wisdom, Tevya Jones was born into a family of musicians
and poets in Colorado in 1972.
Wisdom found refuge
in writing and performing his first songs at an early age. Rooted
in life experience, Wisdom’s diverse style incorporates lyrics
that are streetwise with a political edge. He explains: “world
issues and human suffering were common topics of discussion in our
household, as well as exposure to many types of music and cultures.
My music was a natural extension of this.”

Kevens began his

Suzanne
Sterling is the
"voice" of the Prayer for Peace.
She has been a performing
artist for 20 years and a Reclaiming teacher for 17 years (including
13 Reclaiming Intensives). Within various Reclaiming communities,
she has spearheaded and developed curriculums, teacher trainings
and apprenticeship programs. Suzanne is also an ecstatic vocalist
and composer. She has received critical acclaim both as a performer
and as a recording artist and her music has been commissioned for
film, theatre and video. She performs, teaches and facilitates retreats
and workshops in the U.S. and abroad and has an extensive background
in music, dance, yoga, theatre, psychology and spiritual traditions.
In addition to her solo music, she performs regularly with tribal
trance act Medicine Drum and electronic dance music duo "Alcyone".
She also sings with of the popular acoustic trio "Kali’s
Angels", and is a passionate believer in the power of art and
magic.

Butterfly is a powerful young songwriter with a diverse range of
abilities and talents. She sings in a range from the pure voice
of an angel to the soulful grit of a bluesy momma. She may begin
a show with ambient, eastern-influenced vocal improvisation, leading
into an acoustic guitar song accompanied by a lead guitar, shifting
into full band funk, then end with a mystic piano song. Her original
