Description
The Earthdance Houston celebration is part of a worldwide global observance that has been held annually at over 500 locations in 80 countries since its inception in 1997. Simultaneously all over the world, people join in a synchronized Prayer for Peace - a powerful moment of coherent intention. This year, in line with the United Nations' 2011 theme - International Year of the Forests - we will focus our intentions on "Celebrating the Forests" and how we can protect them for generations to come. Each Earthdance event commits 50% of its profit to a local charity which addresses peace, sustainability or social justice.

We will be supporting a local childrens organisation. We are looking into raising funds for Oz Child but still doing some final research on a couple of local charities.
